The Fincibec Group is on the cutting edge as for energy saving. Its headquarter in Sassuolo features
a high capacity cogeneration plant of 5 Ghe able to totally supply ith self-produced electricity its
most important factory using the recovered vapours from the production of spray-dried ceramic bodies.
As certified by internationally renoned third party as Bureau Veritas, thanks to this cogeneration plant
the energy consuption of Fincibec Group main factory is dramatically reduced ith a clearly decreased
environmental impact of the entire industrial process.
Fincibec has been further alays prefering supplier of electricity produced - at least partially - from reneable sources.
Besides having a level of emissions in ater of 0 thanks to a careful policy of process ater recycling,
the level of gas emissions in the atmosphere is steadily monitored thanks to instrumentsand systems
enabling to strictly check the emitted volumes and to reduce them to levels much loer thanthe limits
specified by already very demanding Italian norms in force.
The use of a co-generation plant for the self-production of electricity combined ith ceramics body spray-drying plant
in a dramatic reduction of emissions in the atmosphere.
Bureau veritas has certified many collections belonging to the three brands of Fincibec Group, Monocibec, Century
and Naxos feature zero Co2 emissions.
100 process scraps from all productive factories of the Fincibec Group, either solid or liquid,
are integrally re-used and re-fitted in the productive cycle in the ceramic body spray-drying or
grinding or directed to separate collection.
The great care for recovery and re-use of process scraps is not only precious safeguard
policy for the surrounding environment as reduction of the company disposal nedd, rather also
determinates a loer consuption of natural materials.
Bureau Veritas has certified many collections produced by fincibec Group for the 3 on
brands Monocibec, Century and Naxos feature a percentage content of recycled material 40.
The Fincibec Group has been pursuing a careful and continous industrial ecology policy for years.
the hole manufactoruing cycle offers special guarantees for environmental impact materials and a limited
amount of natural resources such as ater and natural gas in particular, the electricity used is self produced
through a cogeneration system hich drastically cuts emissions into the atmosphere. All manufactoring
scraps are re-used in the productive cycle.
All astes from activaties not concluded in the production are carefully and separately collected, recycled and
Each step of the product manufactoring(materail extraction, glaze preparation, glazing, firing, sorting
and packaging) strictly pays attention to respecting environment and through an analysis of the hole
product life cycle. representing a model of industrial eco-sustainability is an absolute priority for
the Fincibec Group, as the obtained certifications by third parties also prove
that, in conformity ith the requirements of the norm EN ISO 14024, certified that the Fincibec products are
obtained from natural materials extracted ith a reduced environmental impact and do not contain harmful
substances for man or the environment their productive process is strictly controlled and they
do not release polluting substance in the surrounding environment.
Certifying that, in compliance ith the requirements by ISO 14021, collections produced by the Fincibec Group
feature a percentage content of recycled material over 40.
Certifying many collections best seller series by the Fincibec Group are produced at zero impact as for Co2
emissions in the environment.
